Spirits and Visions

This recent work was accomplished with an urgency as I wanted to hold onto the brightness of life at the same time paint with awareness about a life that is fragile and fleeting. Decisions were made intuitively and with passion. The subject is mysterious and tragedy is softened with humor, the fantastical, and spiritual.
